Easter Bunny Cake

This Easter Bunny Cake is a double chocolate, and you will need a round layer-cake pan. And in addition to cake ingredients and frosting, you will also need jelly beans, coconut, malted milk eggs, and two wafer cookies for ears.

Ingredients for Cake
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Now, you will have to mix these ingredients with a blender. Occasionally, you will be required to scrape the bowl and beat the mixture for 2-3 minutes at a high speed. Then you will have to bake it at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.

For Frosting
You Require
  • 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk and 6 tablespoons softened butter or margarine.

Now, you mix these ingredients in a bowl with a blender, occasionally scraping the bowl. When the frosting becomes stiff, add milk to it to get the desired consistence and if the frosting is thin, then you can mix it with milk powder.


For the entire Easter Bunny Cake the procedure involves making the cake and decorating it with frost and cream. So, after you have done up with the cake, take the cake and cut it in half. Now, you should frost the flat side of the cake. Now, you put the chocolate frosting on the cake. You can also put jellybeans too—for eyes and for nose! And for tail, use large malted milk egg for it. For the ears, make a hole on each side of the head with a sharp knife. And trim the wafers and adjust it in the holes. Then, frost the ears also.
