In addition to the religious celebrations and observances, the ritual of gift giving too forms an essential part of Easter. And Easter without Easter Basket Cookies is hard to imagine!!! Gift baskets offering a wonderful assortment of market bought goodies and treats are typical presents given on Easter.
But you want your Easter basket to stand out from the ordinary store bought ones, right? So, on this Easter, why don’t you use homemade fillers to stuff your Easter baskets? Cookies baked at home are favorite Easter treats. So, hurry up and fill your Easter basket with delicious and savory home made cookies. DGreetings offers you some of the Easter cookie recipes.
Method: First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix together the margarine and sugar until the mixture becomes creamy, then beat in the molasses. Add the dry ingredients to the margarine and sugar mixture in three parts alternating with the water, till the dough becomes stiff. Roll the dough to any thickness you like, directly onto a nonstick cookie sheet; then cut the dough with a cookie cutter. Bake for 8 minutes.
