School summer breaks are the prefect time when you enjoy with your kids and family members and help them learn and try out new things. This is the time when you plan to nurture your child’s creative ability, and try making them more active physically.
Summer Games Your Kids Can Play
Some of the popular games your kids can play during the school summer break are:
There are pool games just ideal for toddlers to beat the heat during the school summer breaks. Of course, you’ll need to supervise the children when they play with water. A simple yet exciting game for kids aged 2 years and above is to float upside-down flying disks in a pool, and throw the sponge inside the rims by taking turns. As and when the sponge goes in, just step back and try tossing it again. Backyard games: You can hide items in your backyard and let your kids find them. Rather than encouraging competition, let your kids and their friends participate together. As a reward, let them savor an ice-cream that’s just ideal to beat the heat.
Summer Crafts for Your Kids
Your kids’ school summer break will become exciting with the cute crafts they create. Here’s a list of summer crafts your kids may try out.
Create a birthday card
You can encourage your kids to create a birthday card. All they have to do is draw pictures, copy and paste stickers, and cut up photos from old cards. Your kids may love to gift such cards to their friends or seniors in the family.
Recreational Activities for School Summer Breaks
You may engage your kids in recreational activities like camping, swimming and skiing. It’s best to reserve a campsite ahead of time. Look for a site which provides sunshine and shade with a lot of trees. Just make sure you give your kids the opportunity to indulge in crafts and play around. An interesting idea for your kids to enjoy the camping is to make them watch the clouds at night and let them discover various shapes of objects we use in our daily life. Alternatively, you may ask your kids to write down the details of everything they have done for the entire day at the camp site. Just encourage them, and you’ll find them creating a lovely journal of their camping vacation.
