History of Friendship Day in US
It was in United States that the US Congress, back in 1935, announced publicly that Friendship Day would be celebrated on the first Sunday of August. It would also be known as the National Friendship Day. So, now we can easily trace back the origin of Friendship Day by looking back at US. From then, the National Friendship Day has become an annual event, whereby the beautiful relationship of friendship is honored and friends take an opportunity to tell each other how special they are and how important their presence is for them!
