Cake Pops

It is a great way to use the left over cake sponge and add an extra assortment to your sweet table for the birthday party.
  • Milk Chocolate buttons: 175 g
  • Cake sponge (as per choice), crumbled
  • White chocolate: 400g, chopped
  • Rainbow sprinkles (decoration)
  • Butter paper
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Polystyrene block (to hold the cake pops)

  • Line a baking sheet with butter paper.
  • Take a double boiler and melt the milk chocolate buttons stirring until melted.
  • Add the crumbled cake sponge into this melted chocolate and mix well.
  • Roll this mixture into golf sized balls using your hands.
  • Insert Popsicle stick into each ball and place on the butter paper.
  • Chill in refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  • In another double boiler, melt chopped white chocolate.
  • Now, dip the chilled cake pops in this melted chocolate and give a fine coat to each one.
  • Insert these cake pops into polystyrene block for a fine finish.
  • Let it cool for a while.
Coat each pop with rainbow sprinkles.
