Things Required:

  • A Cake Batter
  • ¾ Cup Of Butter
  • 1-1/2 Cups Of Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 Teaspoon Of Vanilla Extract
  • 1-1/2 Teaspoons Of Almond Extract
  • ½ Teaspoons Of Salt
  • 1-1/2 Cups Of White Flour
  • 2 Teaspoons Of Soft Butter That Can Be Used For Greasing The Cake Pan

    Things Required For Topping Purpose:

  • 1 Tablespoon Of Sugar
  • 4 Ounces Of Sliced Almonds

    Instructions:

Firstly let the butter melt in a small sized saucepan by heating it over a medium-low heat flame. Once the butter gets melted, pour it in a large bowl along with 1-/2 cups of sugar and keep stirring it until it becomes smooth. Next crack the eggs into the same bowl and keep mixing the batter until it turns into a creamy batter ad all of one color.

Now add the salt, vanilla extract, almond extract and flour to the batter. Stir briskly so that the batter becomes smooth. Now grease the bottom and the sides of the 9-inch round cake pan with the help of butter. Make use of the rubber spatula to scrape the batter from the bowl into the cake pan. Take care to spread the batter evenly in the pan and sprinkle the tablespoon of sugar along with some sliced almond on the batter.

Now put the pan on the oven and set the timer of the oven for about 35 minutes. When the oven rings, check if the cake has been prepared or not. The best way to find this out would be to take a clean toothpick and to insert it in the center of the cake. If the cake is not brown in color and the toothpick comes out wet, then the cake is not yet prepared and you need to put it back in the oven. When the cake is done, let it cool for a few minutes.

When the cake is ready, you can cut small pieces of the cake and can serve it with fresh fruit.
