Tomorrow's Home

If the word of the Lord can be spoken by a sinner,
Yesterday's loser can become tomorrow's winner
If the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head
A house without love is buried with the dead
But a house filled with memories of love,
Will certainly be blessed, by the Lord above
And this house can become a home
For those who no longer wish to roam
The foxes have dens and, birds have nest
My heavenly Father knows what is best
I will follow Him until it is time to rest
Singing His praises from the east to the west
Yes, He has filled my glad heart with His peace and love
Beautiful things a home should be the symbol of
As I give Him my heart, which He has made a shrine,
I would do the same for a home, if it where mine
I know it is right to love people, and the things that are good
Because there are some shrines that are fashioned of stone and wood
Wood and stone can become a work of beautiful art
When fashioned by the builders with love in their heart
The world can be beautiful, if that is how we choose to make it
When you see a chance to give beauty to others you should take it
Jesus promised believers a beautiful home, and His promise He will not break it
Where the Heavenly Father dwells, is a love so great we will not want to forsake it
Lord, You have blessed me as I was preparing for my eternal birth
Thank You for the seven gifts You gave me as I traveled this earth
If it's Your will for me to own a beautiful home in Tennessee
I would leave it to my loved ones as a symbol of Your love for me.
