Peach Faced Love Bird—Agapornis roseicollis originated from Southwestern Africa, Namibia and Angola. These are the most common species and are extremely friendly and social. They are energetic and lively. In fact, they are the largest species of Love Bird too.
Masked Love Bird
Tanzania is the native place for Masked Love Bird. Further, Masked Love Birds fall under the category of ‘white-eye ring’. It appears like a mask on their faces. Green masked and the blue masked are the two categories of masked love birds.
Fischer’s Love Bird
East central Africa and Tanzania are native places for Fischer’s Love Birds. Fischer’s lovebirds are from ‘Agapornis personata fischeri’ specie. Fischer’s Love Birds are found in a wide variety of color mutations—Albino, Pied, Black or Dark Eyed White, Dilute Blue, Dilute Yellow, Lutino, and Cinnamon. They are known as ‘Eye ring’ birds too.
