Maha Shivratri Sms

Maha Shivratri is a night dedicated to worship Lord Shiva. It is said that the special offering made to the God on this day helps in fulfilling one’s inner most desires. The occasion is normally celebrated on the 14th night of the new moon cycle of Phalguna. The celebration is particularly popular among women and they keep a day long fast to offer ‘puja’ to the God in the evening. In 2012 the celebration will take place on 20th February.
