The most common question that every dog owner faces is "How do I know that my pooch is not well? We have listed some of the common signs that tell, "Yes your dog is ill":
Loss of appetite.
See whether the amount of water intake has changed or not.
Changes in consistency of stools. If you have a puppy then always check the stools as they easily suffer from dehydration and even a mild case of diarrhea could be injurious to their health.
Vomiting
Losing weight for no particular reason.
Changes in behavior. If your pooch becomes hyperactive, or keeps on barking for unnecessary reasons, stops playing and refuses to go for walks then consult your vet.
Urinates a lot more or feel strained to urinate
You are the best person to know your pooch. These early symptoms are so subtle that someone else who is unknown to your pet cannot detect it. And moreover dogs are best at hiding their diseases, so you have to be very careful and cautious. So, if you notice any of the mentioned symptoms or other signs that may be worrying you then immediately call your vet and have your pooch examined. These signs will help your veterinarian in diagnosing the problem and guide him or her in deciding the treatment that would help your pet stay healthy.
