Black Boxer Dog

Boxers are a kind of German breed which was developed towards the end of 1800 as a result of cross breeding. Black Boxer dog also belongs to the family of Boxers and was selectively bred for different purposes. However, most prominently they were used as hunting dogs by the majority of Germans. Normally, Boxers have a blunt face with a square head and broader nose but Black Boxers usually have a mastiff-type of head and are medium sized with a height ranging from 21 to 25 inches.
Looking back at the history of Black Boxer Dog, it can be said that in 1948, just like other Boxer dogs, they were first introduced in Victoria which is situated at Melbourne with great fanfare at the Royal Melbourne Show. Originally this particular breed of dog was regarded to be very ferocious but with proper training and grooming they can turn out to be an excellent pet. They are also characterized as fun loving, affectionate and playful by nature.

Through years of research by dedicated team of vets certain information about Black Boxer dog has been formulated by them. As it's commonly seen that like the German shepherd dogs, this breed of dog are easily prone to diseases as hip dysplasia, gastric disorders and cancer, thus if you own a Black Boxer it's recommended that regular medical check up should be done to control the spread of infections. Also there are different varieties of Black Boxer dog, each having a distinct feature of their own.
