    Ingredients:
  • 6 large green chilies, for stuffing
  • 1 pomegranate, seeds separated
  • 1/2 lb ground pork or beef
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored and seeded, and chopped
  • 1/4 of an onion, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 bunch fresh parsley, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons raisins, softened in warm water
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted almonds, chopped
  • Salt
  • Pepper

    Procedure:
  • Roast the chilies and get rid of their skins and seeds.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan. Apply medium heat only.
  • Add the beef or pork into the saucepan and continue heating till it turns brown.
  • Add onions, nutmeg, and almonds into the saucepan.
  • Put garlic and cinnamon into the pan.
  • Also, add the apple pieces, salt, pepper, and cumin.
  • Cook the above mixture for 5 minutes.
  • Beat the egg whites to form stiff peaks with the help of a whisk.
  • Fold the egg yolks and add a pinch of salt.
  • Dip the chilies into the above mixture of eggs.
  • Fry the above mixture till it turns golden brown.
  • Stuff the chilies with equal amounts of the mixture.
  • Mix the sour cream, sugar, and walnuts.

    Creamy Chicken Enchiladas:

    Ingredients:
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups chicken, cooked and cubed
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 10 flour tortillas
  • 10 ounce diced tomatoes with mild green chilies (undrained)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese

    Procedure:
  • Mix green chilies and chicken soup.

  • Fill each tortilla shell with a spoonful of chicken and soup mixture.

  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the tortillas.

    Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 12 fluid ounce evaporated milk
  • 14 ounce sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 and 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

    Procedure:
  • Heat the oven until 350░ and apply grease and flour on a baking pan (9x13 inch).
  • Sift baking powder and flour and keep them away.
  • Combine butter with 1 cup white sugar until you get a fluffy mixture.
  • Add eggs into the above mixture.
  • Put 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract into the mixture and mix well.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of the flour mixture to the butter mixture at a time and blend the two.
  • Pour the batter (flour and butter mixture) into the baking pan.
  • Bake at 350░ F for half an hour.
  • Pierce the cake with a fork frequently to see whether it is baked properly.
  • Let the cake cool after it is baked.
  • Mix the whole milk, evaporated milk, and condensed milk together.
  • Pour the combined milk on top of the cake.
  • Combine the remaining 1 cup sugar, vanilla extract, and whipping cream until the mixture turns thick.
  • Top the cake with the mixture.
  • Refrigerate the cake for some time and enjoy having it with your dear ones!

    Steak Burrito

    Ingredients (for 10 servings):
  • 2 beef flank steaks (1 pound each)

  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 3/4 cup sour cream

    Procedure:
  • Divide the steaks into halves and apply taco seasoning.
  • Place the steaks in a slow cooker before coating the latter with cooking spray.
  • Top the steaks with onion and chilies.
  • Add vinegar as well.
  • Cover the steaks and cook over low heat until the meat becomes soft.
  • Remove the steaks and let them cool.
  • Use forks to shred meat.
  • Heat it in a slow cooker.
  • With a spoon, put down 1/2 cup of the meat mixture into the center of the tortillas, one by one.
  • Top them with cheese and sour cream.

  • 4 ounce diced green chilies
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 8 ounces sliced Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 cups small curd cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives (can also be used to garnish the recipe)
  • 1 egg
  • 12 corn tortillas, quartered
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • Chopped green onion (optional)
  • Extra sliced black olives (optional)
  • Sour cream (optional)

    Procedure:
  • Preheat an oven till the temperature rises to 350░.
  • Apply grease on a casserole dish set aside.
  • Saute beef with onion and garlic in a skillet, and apply medium heat.
  • Drain the mixture.
  • Sprinkle chili powder over the beef and mix properly.
  • Add tomato sauce, olives, and green chilies.
  • Also, add sugar and salt to the above mixture.
  • Apply very low heat and let the mixture simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Blend the egg with cottage cheese.
  • Place 1/3 part of beef on the casserole dish and layer it with half part of Monterey Jack cheese and half of egg and cottage cheese mixture.
  • Use half the tortillas to create the next layer on beef.
  • Place 1/3 part of beef on top of the tortillas.
  • Continue to create layers by using the remaining tortillas, Monterey Jack cheese, and beef.
  • Top the layers by sprinkling cheddar cheese.
