Bell Deepak Ganesha

Lord Ganesha with an elephant head and four arms is one of the most widely worshipped Hindu Gods. He is also known as Vigneshwara (removal of all obstacles) hence it is customary to worship him at the beginning of any new action/ venture. It is believed worshipping Ganesha during Diwali brings Siddhi (success and prosperity) and Buddhi (wisdom).

The intricate brass image of Ganesha seated on a throne is embellished with a bracket from where the two bells hang loose. Ganesha holds his favorite sweet, a modak in his left hand. His right hand is held open in a gesture of blessing. Auspicious signs decorate his forehead and trunk.

At the base of the podium of the image five cups are provided to light the oil lamps.
