This brass idol shows Goddess Kali in an aggressive stance. She stands triumphant, with her right leg on the vanquished demon Raktabija, her tongue protruding and wearing a garland of skulls. Her four arms are extended, and she bears a sword, a trident, a skull and a conch shell. The superb design reveals the fine handicraft skills of traditional Indian craftsmen.
