Chusok is the Korean Thanksgiving Celebration. It is a three-day harvest celebration that falls sometime in September and October. Chusok falls on August 15 on lunar calendar. On Korean Thanksgiving Day also people gather, prepare traditional and tasty food, relish relatives, honor ancestors both living and dead.
USA Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving in USA is celebrated with enthusiasm and energy and the people are full of bubbling spirit. It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November. It is the time for enjoying your year's harvest to the fullest and with your loved ones. The platters are full of Turkey and cranberries.
New York Thanksgiving
New York Thanksgiving is marked with Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade which is held annually every Thanksgiving Day in Midtown Manhattan and is presented by Macy's Department Store. It is a three-hour event starting at 9 a.m. Thanksgiving parades also occur in many other cities like Plymouth, Houston, Philadelphia, Detroit and Dallas.
Canadian Thanksgiving
Canadian Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday in October, which started in1879. Americans did not invent Thanksgiving. It began in Canada. Frobisher's celebration in 1578 was 43 years before the pilgrims gave thanks in 1621 for the bounty of crops and started the celebrations.
