Flower Rakhi is a Rakhi made with Flowers, mostly Silk or Plastic Flowers and silk thread. Generally used in North India, West India. Sometimes this Rakhi comes with original Flower however it doesn't last too long in that case. Usually the flower on the Rakhi is a simple Gerbera Daisy and for the likes of the flashy ones there are some with a showy Orchis.
Fresh flower Rakhis are not very popular as they do not tend to last more than a couple of hours and most brothers like to wear their Rakhis for at least a month. And even otherwise, even if one fancies them, they are very difficult to come by and in most cases would have to be custom made which is very expensive.
These Rakhis are very popular as Silk flowers are almost as realistic as real flowers. Silk Flowers look very beautiful and can last a lifetime if taken care of, and the best part is that your brother can wear it for as long as he likes and keep it safely after that too.
These are usually made out of paper or plastic and last for about three days to a week. They are the most popular kind of Rakhis because they are easily available and are very affordable.
These Rakhis have a flower sculpted out of gold or gold plated bronze. They are expensive and not very affordable. However, they do last a lifetime and can even bring returns upon them.
