There are different dates for Mother’s Day in different parts of the world. In UK and Ireland Mother’s Day is celebrated on the 4th Sunday of Lent. In Spain and Portugal Mother’s Day falls on the 8th of December.
In the rest of the world including USA, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Netherlands and Turkey, Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May.
