Flavored Cooking Oil
Save empty oil bottles throughout the year. Fill them halfway with olive or peanut oil and add twigs of dried thyme, parsley, oregano, rosemary, basil, garlic, or whatever the receiver’s favorite flavors are. Fill the bottle the rest of the way, seal it with a cork and add decorative ribbon. It will be delicious and it will look pretty on the recipient’s kitchen shelf.
Personalized Recipe Book
Collect lip-smacking recipes from books or magazines, or dig out old family favorites. Write them neatly in a cute notebook, or type them, print them out and bind them in a decorative folder. Chocolate Spoons

To make it easier, once you’ve got the perfect border designed on one piece of paper, take it to a copy store and get it reprinted onto the rest.
