Friends flow in our life, in abundance, especially in our teen years. It is the most crucial period of our life and we should be careful in selecting friends. They say that a man is known by the company he keeps. And the age between 13 and 19 is the time when we make friends, mix with new set of people and get exposed to the harsh realties of life. The friend that we make in our teen years stays with us and the impact of their friendship lingers long in our mind.
Teen friends will forever stay and even when you part with them they will always keep in touch. However, the level and intensity of friendship varies. Not everyone has the same sincerity in maintaining a friendship.

In our teen years, as we graduate from school to college, we come across friends of varied types. Not everyone can turn out to be our friend. It is our duty to select the best. Teen friends can culminate into a long term friendship later. They turn out to be our great supporter in course of time, changing our life for the better.
During our teen years our world centers round our friend. It is with them that we share our feelings, our views, our opinions and our thoughts. Sometime we end up making 2-3 special friends, sometime just one suffices. Our life seems so beautiful in their presence. If you are lucky to get a special friend you will surely be on cloud nine. You will keep aside and forget all your worries and cares when you are in their company. Their reassuring words will envelop you in a world of comfort. You cannot help but, thank them for their presence in your life. |

But, yes you need to be extra cautious while choosing a friend during your teen years. You will come across varied types. Mix them all of them but, consider only the genuine as your friend. Do not allow anyone to take advantage of your friendship. Friendship with the opposite sex is also very common at this age. If you are girl make sure a thorough research is done before you venture to strengthen the bond with your boyfriend.
Teen age is very critical and if you do not make the right choice you will regret later. At this age you are matured enough and can distinguish between right and wrong. So in the selection of friends make use of your intelligence. Teen friends have two extremities. Either they will turn out to be a true and special friend or they will end up being your enemy. Make a circle of friend whom you will always have by your side and on whom you can depend upon in times of all your needs. True and loyal friends are rarely found, and if you get one make sure you preserve your friendship with him/her all through.
