Strawberry Easter Basket
Ingredients:
Colored paper or ribbons
Plastic strawberry basket
Scissors
Green paper or cellophane
Tape
Method: First punch holes into the strawberry basket. Then cut strips of colored paper or ribbon to fit through the holes of the basket. Beginning from the bottom, weave one of the colored strips through the holes of the basket vertically. Fix the ends together. Continue the process of weaving with different colors through the holes of the basket until you get layer upon layer of colors. Then, take some green paper and cut it up to look like grass and place it inside your basket. If you’d like, you can attach a handle. Your Easter basket is ready!!!
Easter Bottle Basket
Ingredients:
2 liter bottle
Glue
Scissors
Stickers
Ribbon
Method: Take an empty bottle and cut off the bottom. Then, trim the edge cleanly. Cut out a 1/2 to 1 inch ring from the soda bottle, cut it in half and use it as the handle. To attach the handle use a paper punch to put a hole in the basket. Punch a hole at each end of the handle. You can use ribbon to fix the handle to the basket. You could also use a stapler to attach the handle, but it is less flexible when finished. You can decorate the basket with ribbons, bows, satin, pebbles or may be jewelry.
