Baked Potatoes with Oregano
Ingredients:
Oregano
1/2 cup olive oil
Lemon juice
Salt
1.5 kg potatoes
Pepper
Method: Firstly wash and peel the potatoes. Chop them in small pieces and dredge them with salt, pepper and oregano. Later, put the potatoes in a baking pan, pour olive oil and lemon juice and bake in 180 C for an hour.

Easter Cookies
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups butter
1/2 cup milk or orange juice
8 cups sifted flour
4 egg yolks
1 tablespoon grated orange rind
Method: Firstly sieve together flour and baking powder and set aside. In a large bowl, blend together butter and sugar. Then, pour 4 egg yolks in the butter/sugar paste one at a time, beating well after each one. In a large bowl mix milk and flour. Work with the hands until dough is stiff and smooth. Then add some grated orange rind. Break off small portions of dough and roll out into pencil-size strips. Fold each strip into thirds, sideways, and press lightly together at ends. Place cookies on a plain baking sheet. Brush tops of the sheet with beaten egg. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.
