Christmas tree ornaments are those embellishments which makes the Christmas tree sparkling bright which in turn adds to the beauty of the occasion. History of Christmas Tree Ornaments
The art of decorating the Christmas tree is an integral part of the festival of Christmas. According to the legends the Berman families used to decorate the Christmas trees with many natural resources and objects. In the early fifteenth century they took the initiative of decorating a fig tree with roses and coupled it with Virgin Mary. After one decade in 1605 one house in Strasbourg brought a Christmas tree and decorated it with artificial roses, wafers, lighted colorful candles and materials. In the following decades the Christmas tree ornaments varied from sparkling stars to glittering bells, garlands and all sorts of paper decorations. Some of the Christmas trees are also ornamented with tiny Santa Claus figures.
With the belief and popularity of Christianity, Christmas has become a festival of hopes and aspirations, dreams and delight. The changing trends have also led to a modification in the designs of Christmas tree ornaments.
