Material
  • Wool felt of 18*18 inches in varied colours
  • Hot glue gun
  • Iron
  • Assorted embellishments
  • Holy Template
  • Barrettes or brooch pins

Steps
  • Print and cut out the holy template. Now cut one 2.5 by 5 inch rectangle for each pair of leaves. Fold the rectangle into halves.
  • Trace the template on the folded rectangle and cut it out.
  • Unfold it and then cross two felt shapes to prepare four leaves.
  • Use a low temperature glue gun to attach them.
  • Finally, stick the trimmings in the front to decorate it and a pin to the back for it to make it ready to be used.

Baby Sock Advent Calendar

Material
  • 25 socks
  • Ribbon
  • Round stickers
  • Pushpins
  • Mini clothespins
  • Number stickers

Steps
  • Gather 25 socks, singles or 12 pairs in colors that go well together .
  • Lay them out in the order you want to hang them, leaving spaces in between.
  • Cut the ribbon to the desired length, measure across the row of socks and add 12 inches.
  • Use number stickers to label each sock.
  • Tack the ends of the ribbon to a railing, you can fasten the ribbon in several places to make a few swags.
  • Use mini clothespins to clip the socks to the ribbon.
  • Tuck a gift inside each.

Mitten Clips

Material
  • Clear drying glue
  • Hole punch
  • Wooden clothespin
  • Cardboard
  • Felt
  • Magnet

Steps
  • Cut mitten shape from cardboard, and trace it onto a piece of felt.
  • Cut along the lines, and glue the felt to the cardboard with clear drying craft glue.
  • Adorn the felt side of the mitten with bits of felt in complementary colors dots made with a hole punch, a monogram, felt trim edged with decorative shears.
  • Glue a standard wooden clothespin to cardboard, then glue a magnet to the backside of the clothespin.

Candy Cane Mice

Material
  • Fabric shears
  • Craft glue
  • Candy canes
  • Candy Cane Mice template
  • Pencil

Steps
  • Enlarge Candy Cane Mice template by 150 percent, cut out.
  • With a pencil, trace ears and body onto felt, cut out.
  • Cut inner ears and a dot for a nose , cut dots for eyes from black.
  • Glue the face and inner ears in place.
  • Make slits in body for ears and candy-cane tail where marked, fold felt across center of slits, and snip.
  • Slip ears through slits at front, slide wrapped candy cane through body slits, tucking the end underneath the ear piece at the back.

Pipe Cleaner Snowflake Ornament

You can make these snowflake ornaments of any size you like. You will amazed to learn this interesting way of converting something as trivial as a pipe cleaner into a decoration ornament.

Material
  • Needle nose pliers
  • Wire cutter
  • 3 pieces of pipe cleaner each of 6 inch length
  • Six 2.5 inch and six 2 inch pieces of pipe cleaner

Steps
  • Use a wire cutter to cut pieces of pipe cleaner in the above mentioned dimensions and quantity.
  • To make six spoked asterisk twist 6 inch pieces together at their midpoint.
  • Keep a 2.5 inch piece at the midpoint of the spoke and twist it on the spoke. Tighten the twist using needle nose pliers. Follow the same for other five spokes.
  • Center one 2 inch piece about 0.5 inch from the arm attached in step 3 near the spoke’s tip. Twist it on the spoke and use needle nose pliers to tighten it.
  • Center one 0.5 inch piece about 0.5 inches away from the arm attached in step 4 and twist it. Tighten it as you had done before. Trim arms if required.
  • Stick a loop of cord at the backside of a spoke to be able to hang your snowflake ornament.
