Birthday Party Entertainment

To place yourself as a good host, it’s not really sufficient to feed your guests well. A birthday party can be quite insipid if there is no proper amusement to keep your guests engaged. The entertainment in a birthday party can be as varied and as unique as you can think of. It would however depend on the age group of your guests, as magic shows and party crafts would seem too juvenile for a grown up's party.
Here are some ways to entertain the younger heads in your guest list.

Kids would love stage shows with magicians and ventriloquists. You can set up a temporary stage for the person to perform.

The fun would be coupled if the magician calls up kids from the audience to help him in his performance.

Puppet shows are equally exciting for children. You can ask them to bring their own puppets for the show or let them make a few puppets. It would surely be a thrill to watch their creation on stage.
For a carnival party, clowns would be the best entertainers. You can even let the kids dress up with clown noses and clown caps and it would definitely be hilarious to watch their antics.

Party crafts are good amusements for children. Give them their glue sticks and craft items to make little ornaments or goodie bags.

For the little older kids, face painting would be great fun. The kids themselves can paint each other’s faces and a photo session after that would be the best part!

If it is a teenager girls’ party, the best entertainment would of course be a make over. Hire a make up artist and a hair stylist to dress the girls up, and the party is bound to be a memorable one if there is a beauty pageant to follow.

The youngsters would definitely want a good dance in the birthday party. So keep their feet pattering with the tunes of a live band. A professional DJ could do the job as well!

Games are exciting for guests of all ages. Select separate ones for the children and the grown ups, and keep prizes to make the games more fun. You can either invent your own game ideas or stay with the traditional ones like piñata, or musical chair. Here are a few other games that are sure to amuse your guests:

  • Pin The Tail On The Donkey
  • Toss The Bean Bag
  • Treasure Hunts
  • Dart Games
  • Hooplas
  • Dress-Up Contests
  • Charades
  • Go Statue
  • Memory Games
  • Balloon Stomp

So decide how to entertain your guests for the birthday party, and with a well selected set of party activity, you are sure to become a host they would remember!
