50th Birthday Cakes

You can make your birthday memorable with interesting 50th birthday cake ideas. Rich chocolate pound cake is a very popular 50th birthday cake. Here is its recipe for you.
  1. 3 cups of flour
  2. 2 cups of brown sugar( its advisable to avoid white sugar)
  3. 1 cup of butter
  4. 4 eggs
  5. cup of liquid milk
  6. teaspoon of salt
  7. baking powder- 1 tablespoon
  8. 2 cups of rich chocolate
  9. 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
Preheat the oven at a temperature of 350 degree Fahrenheit. Mix flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl with a cake blender. In a larger bowl mix sugar, vanilla essence and butter till it becomes a creamy batter. Then add the eggs one at a time. Whip the batter after adding each egg. Add this egg mixture to the flour batter and finally add the chocolate to the batter. Spread the batter in a buttered bundt pan and allow the cake to bake for 55 minutes. You will know that the cake is ready when a wooden tooth pick, when inserted, comes out clean. After the cake is ready, allow the cake to cool for 30 minutes. To make the cake more chocolaty, you can pour some liquid chocolate on top of the cake. Decorate the cake with chocolate chips.

Cheese cake is another 50th birthday cake which never fails to satisfy mature taste buds. Usually cheese cake is very rich and so it is avoided by calorie conscious adults.
But 50th birthday comes only once in your life. So there is nothing better than celebrating the special day in your life with yummy cheese cake. Here is a simple recipe for you.

Ingredient required:
  • 8 grams of creamy soft cheese
  • 1/3 cup of white sugar
  • 1/3 cup of butter
  • 7 grams of plain uncolored gelatin
  • 2 cups of chocolate crackers
  • 2 cups of white morsel

The oven needs to be preheated at 350 degree Fahrenheit. First break the chocolate crackers into small bits. Mix the chocolate crumbs and butter well and place it at the bottom of a 8 inch baking dish. Bake this mixture for 10 minutes. This will make a solid crispy crust. Before making the cake batter, dissolve the gelatin in a pan. Now in a large bowl mix the cheese, sugar and liquid gelatin well. Beat the mixture till it turns to a creamy paste. Finally add the white morsels of the crust we had made earlier and then pour the creamy mixture on top. Refrigerate the cake for 6 hours. When the cake is nice and hard, remove it from the pan and cut it into slices. You can add icing sugar on top.
